Market launch of Area 1: state-of-the-art logistics hub
Area 1 will benefit from the strategic location and connections of Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, just minutes away from millions of people and with a huge potential to compete for freight traffic between Asia, Europe and the Americas, and will capitalise on the unstoppable growth of e-commerce and air freight.
The project will establish a new state-of-the-art intermodal logistics hub and provide a unique opportunity to consolidate Spain's largest logistics hub: the Central Area comprising Madrid, Guadalajara and Toledo, which in 2020 recorded the highest volume of investment in logistics assets since 2003.
